Gay marriage bill so simple 'could be in Queen's Speech'
Stonewall calls for equal rights in love this Valentine's Day with draft of gay marriage bill
14 FEBRUARY 2012 | BY MATTHEW JENKIN

Gay News Star: Stonewall is sending UK politicians a Valentine's message today, saying a gay marriage bill is so simple, it could be included in the Queen's Speech.
The gay rights charity today published a draft parliamentary bill for giving married same-sex couples equal legal rights.
The short, two page document outlines the legislative steps needed to implement a policy now supported by all political party leaders and is intended to show how easy it could be for Parliament to pass into law.
Lynne Featherstone MP, the equalities minister, promised last September that formal consultation on extending the legal form of marriage to gay couples would begin next month (March 2012).
The proposal has been supported by Conservative Prime Minister David Cameron, Deputy Prime Minister and Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg and Labour party leader Ed Miliband.
‘We trust that the government will go ahead with its promised consultation by the end of March,’ said Ben Summerskill, Stonewall chief executive.
‘We also trust that the government will publish a White Paper, consulting on the detail of how to implement its proposal, and not a Green Paper which merely consults on the wider principle.
'This simple two-page bill of five clauses need not occupy a significant amount of parliamentary time. It could easily be included in the Queen’s Speech in May.’
The Scottish Government has already announced that it intends to extend the legal form of marriage to same-sex couples. If it goes ahead, new legislation tabled in Westminster would only need to apply to England and Wales.

No one knows me. __ I heard the whispers of the night _ who was saying that, _ the sun had asked the spirit of wisdom: __Who is it? __ Replied the spirit of wisdom; __ after a short silence: __ A light greater than light! __ The one who enlightened the sun _ by coming over, __ a light that didn’t leave out the moon, _ too. __ Extended the meaning of paradise on earth, _ in a way that symbolised the beauty __ of the paradise of heavens, __ the one known by the angels.

I Will Grow, I Will Bear Fruit ... Figs
English
The recently published “I Will Grow, I Will Bear Fruit ... Figs”, is the first book of its kind in Persian within which life is described from the perspective of a homosexual. It shows the reader that the life of a homosexual can be ordinary as that of a heterosexual. It also suggests that the gay lifestyle, unlike what many people think, is not full of desire and dirtiness, and that it can be so poetic, charming and soft.
Payam Feyli, is an Iranian writer, or poet as he describes himself, whose writings are beyond the rules written on papers, and sometimes, beyond the understandings of his readers. Nevertheless, he says, there are people who can understand his writings, or otherwise, there will be. He never considers himself as a surrealist, but a realist, whose words need deeper, more extensive perceptions.
